Adaptive Work

When the context changes, old solutions no longer work as well as they used to.  New solutions arise out of adaptive work. Adaptive work requires us to process the distress of the changing context, turn that distress into productive motivation for change, and adopt new beliefs, values, and practices -- all without giving up our core identity.
